sclerals + flying

Postby sarah.w » Mon 20 Jun 2011 4:42 pm

Sorry for the 2nd post!

Any ideas what i can use to clean my scleral lenses on a long haul flight? Normally miraflow+saline and amidose to fill so a hard lens all in one cleaner would be great buy i have never used one so i dont want to end up with eye problems in singapore airport!

Any ideas would be much appreciated
thanks guys

Hi Sarah,

I've always got away with just rinsing and topping up with amidose and giving them a good clean with miraflow once I got to my destination.

Thanks cloud, so do you just take them out, dry them then rinse them with saline before you put them back in?
I bought 4 x 100ml bottles today that i can fill with saline so i can use that on the plane.......long haul flights are a pain!

thanks again

Yeah, like I said, not ideal but I can do without the miraflow for a day. My scerals don't get too greasey though which helps.

And thankfully my luggage has never gone missing after a long haul flight. Now that would be a disaster.
