At last....a group looking at this!

I saw this on Sky. looks wonderful.
Thanks Ttuf for digging around. Not really bothered about the cost as long as it works! I contacted wellington eye clinic. Apparently they dont have keraflex machine. they just had on trial. Not sure I understand this. Are they advertising without having a machine. Not sure why, but would explain the price I supppose.

Keep digging....love this site

Hi,

Dr. Cummings is really very kind and an absolute expert.
Are you really sure they don´t have the keraflex machine any longer?
Please write him directly an e-mail if you want to get sure.

Best regards

Andi

actually spoke to Avedro to find a local person. They said only dr paulig in germeny and 20-20 vision in UK have the systems in europe. Why would they not tell me about ireland?

No problem with nay surgeons though, anyone who offers this should be congratualted. I'm seeing 20-20 vision next week about this anyway as got some good feedback from a couple of people I know who have had this done.

I am also pretty sure wellington eye clinic are offering keraflex treatment, but then again avedro has more info on it as they asupply equipment. On their website they have some very useful info, before and after graphs etc etc....

might be worth mentioning wellington eye clinic to avedro, maybe you asked them about ones in england, so he didnt mention the one in NI maybe??

Please tell us what he says. I mean definitely he HAS USED it.
Maybe not anymore? Would be interesting why he stopped using it.
Please keep us up to date.

Andi

I think you have got the wrong one, as a quick google showed, Welington Eye Hospital is in London, also other Wellingonn hospitals located around england. The one we're on about is 'Wellington eye Clinic' in Dublin with Dr.cummings. Maybe that explains it as there maybe a confusion as to which place :) .

I was in touch with the wellington eye clinic (dublin) and they even offered me a consultation for keraflex, and also info on how many days i should take off work etc...im sure they wouldnt say that if they didnt have equipment. Either way, i think you might be talking about a different place than the one we are talking about.
