Website!

Postby Phantom » Wed 21 Apr 2010 9:29 pm

Hey,

I just wanted to say a big thank you to the owners of the website, after being diagnosed with KC I have found it a fantastic resource for information on the condition, finding the forums to chat with others with the same condition, and all the help and advice given.

One thing I would love to see is an overall design change to the site itself (instead of a basic frontpage type design) to make it look a lot more clean and up to date, which would also make surfing the site and getting to information a lot smoother - I have a bit of experience in web design and would love to see some changes :)

A nice chat room on the forums would also be a good way to chat to each other 'live' also.
I know as an organization funds are an issue - but maybe help from people who use the site would be good?

Phantom

Thank you for your very constructive ideas. I know that forum design is always under consideration and that a chat area is a real possibility for the next upgrade. Not being involved in that side of things, myself, I know that those who are will have read your comments and will take very seriously what you write.

I think that the next upgrade is waiting for new software.

The present 'feel' of the forum is down to the work of the Webmaster who was assisted by a user.

Every good wish

Andrew
