Well it has been six months since my full thickness graft in my left eye. I have had half of my stitches out, getting another five out last week. After getting my last stitches out my vision went from very bad to nearly 20/20 uncorrected, I was quite stunned by this.
The strange thing is when I get up in the morning my vision is 20/20, but slowly deteriorates throughout the day and by night the vision has dropped about 50 percent. Oh well, I am quite pleased with my current condition and feel I will get a great result once the stitches have all been removed.
For anyone getting a graft, remember that the real vision improvements come after you start getting the stitches removed, so stay tough and be patient.
Peace

well done.
It may take your vision aittke while to settle down, but with an immediate improvement as good as that the future looks bright!
All the best.
