Hi guys / gals. I've been looking into (no pun intended) the C3R process for quite a while now and am considering having the operation. I have mild KC in my left eye, which I had intacs implanted. This seems to have stabilized it but vision is far from great. My right eye now seems to be deteriorating (this was my strongest eye) and as such want to try to prevent the progression.
Are there any places in the midlands that do this operation? I thought I saw a topic about a place in Solihull.
Failing that what are some of the best value for money places in the UK? (in london i presume). best price i have found so far is this one http://www.lcrs.co.uk/menu/6Cost

Re: C3R - where??
It may be that CXL is available in your area as part of an NHS research programme. You might do well to start by checking with your own ophthalmologist.
We did hear from someone a while back who had been told that his KC was too far advanced for him to be included in the study. I am not sure where he lived, as his profile did not give his location.
All the best. Let us know how you get on.
