Ok, I am not one who would usually consider a surgery for cosmetic reasons, however, over the years of suffering KC my eyelids have also suffered. They look tired and droopy. You can tell by looking at my eyes that I have had a hard time and it is something I would like to fix. My question is, if one were to undergo this procedure, is it contraindicated by having KC. If not, would this procedure at all effect the way in which the mini scleral or RGP sat upon your eye. I know that the inner upper eyelid rubs against the lens and a small scar would possibly interfere with it. I just wanna have my nice blue eyes back! Thanks folks

I have a droopy eye... my right one I think, which became droopy post my graft and I have never really thought of getting anything done to it.

One advice the nurse gave me once was 'you have one pair of eyes and as it is you already have support from somebody elses eyes so take very good care of them' - basically she was telling me not to get adventurous with anything not even mascara!

And when I first heard about laser surgery I went to my optician asking if I could get that and 'loose' the gas permeable lenses for good and she had exactly the same advice.. dont touch your eyes for anything was basically what she was saying.

I guess if I was you I wouldnt go for the surgery unless really it was in response to a medical condition.
