The Ulcers Return (part 3)

Hello Fellow KC Buddies!
Just a quick recap on whats gone off so far,
Suffered with an eye Ulcer right in the centre of mt right eye towards the end of April.
cleared up with antibiotics.

Suffered from same problem 4 weeks later,
more antibiotics ,also took part in a trial at QMC Nottingham about the cause of Ulcers.
No contact lens for a good 8 weeks.
Ulcer cleared up again, started to introduce contact lens again,building up wear time gradually.

OK for one week then the Blinking Things made a comeback(wed/09/07/08).

????? Is my eye starting to Reject Contact Lenses after 25 years of wear,
what are my options if any.????

Are you continually trying to use the same lenses, or have they offered you new ones? It is possible for corneal ulcers to be caused by ill fitting lenses. I'd have thought that they might at least try lenses with a different fit, or even a different sort of lens (soft lenses get a good report from users on the forum and scleral lenses don't touch the cornea).

changed to a new hybrid lens about 4 yrs ago fit is perfect,but i do have some scar tissue which seems to be the cause of the problem.
my latest lens is brand new.
