Hi Everybody,
I feel like i am starting to struggle to get a standard RGP to fit in my left eye. Vision is fine but keeping the fit is getting more and more difficult. i get the feeling its gonna be more difficult soon. I'm trying Rose K2's but this is taking time and i'm looking for some other options.
Looking around the Web i'm trying to find a hybrid lens which could be suitable for me. i have looked through the SoftPerm range but dont think this will offer the rating that i need (i think i am around 6.9 for my Base Curve in GP's). i'm waiting to find out if the SoftPerm will give me an option.
I have seen a US range called Synergeyes but i dont think they sell in the UK.
Any ideas anyone on possible Hybrid choices?
Also i've looked at the Kerasoft 3 range. Anyone know if they are fitted anywhere in Wales?
Cheers all!

One of the problems about asking general questions here is that the answers can only be applied specifically to any one of us depending on the nature, extent and severity of our KC. it is often said, but still true, that each case of KC is unique. We do not come in standard fittings.
One may be able to tolerate RGP's for life, while another may be so intolerant of the materials of which they are made that it is just impossible for them to get any wear time.
I know that in Glasgow I was well served by a hospital based optometrist whose skill and expertise meant that I had a gradual progression through different sorts of RPG corneals (I think I remember RoseK as an outstanding success for a time), and then to sclerals and then to various soft skirted, soft and hybrid lenses until my eyes would just take no more.

Thanks Andrew,
Sorry maybe i was a bit waffly in the post. I'm not looking for a specific fitting points, just names of any hybrid lens manufacturers who sell in the UK. I can then contact direct and go through the difficult stuff with them.
Cheers

Kerasoft3 lenses are manufactured by Ultravision who are based in Leighton Buzzard.
Lynn White who is involved with Ultravision may see your post and reply with further information regarding this lens and where you may be able to arrange a fitting. Alternatively contact ultravision direct.
I hope this helps.
