Hi David
Not many of us at all I'm afraid. Disappointing I suppose really. I think it was 7 in total, with apologies from a couple of others.

What topics did we discuss? Well, KC Forum crashing last week, contact lenses, cataract operations, beer, wine, lager, golf, fundraising via online shopping, food, work, price of fish, cost of Anne's sandwich, absence of Gareth posting on the forum last week   (nice to see you're back Gareth :P ) where to meet in the future if the sun is out, and probably lots of other day to day interesting topics that after the second galss of wine I can't remember!

Oh and had a team exercise in mopping up spilt drinks....no names (he he!)

I haven't got a clue who Pat is talking about :?

Also I can't remember half the topics Pat says we talked about. Perhaps that explains the spillage  .

One topic Pat didn't mention was you; a comment was made that you, amongst others, are a member of the once only club  .

Hopefully you will be able to make the next social although coming from Cambridge, this would be above and beyond the call of duty!

Well I wish I had mananged to make it. I had a dreadful cold which made my lenses extremely uncomfortable!

Although the socials attract a small group - they are nethertheless good fun and its always good to see what everyone looks like!

I hope to make the next one!
Mandy

7 members is not bad! We don't really get that many but it is always a good day!

Michael I think the drink situation was down to you!! For once I was really civilised and only had two drinks!! LOL!!! :P

It was a shame to have missed those who couldn't make it! Anne, Mandy and David hope to see you at the next one! Hopefully dates will be up soon!

Well it was my first time and I enjoyed it! Thanks to you all for making me feel so welcome. (I hope you didn't think I meant the event was disappointing Sweet - far from it! I just had visions of there being more people!)

Really sorry you weren't well and missed it Mandy - and it was good of you to text us on the day so we didn't sit wondering where you were! But we did miss you.

So to any other "newbies" - or members of the once only club - in the area, do come along if you can - it was really good to be able to talk about KC problems (as well as non KC stuff too!) in a friendly environment where people do actually understand what you mean! And don't look at you as if you are mad when wearing sunglasses indoors!

(And should I put money on you organising the next one for when I'm on holiday?? 8) 8) )
Pat
