Check up today

Postby Anne B » Tue 17 Apr 2007 11:13 am

Just got back from Moorfields after a very long morning, had to get the kids up at 6.00am drop them to a friend so she could taake them to school, hubby drove me and youngest to Moorfields for a 9.00 appointment, Hubbys now gone to work at Canary Wharf and i got train home with youngest, and its only mid day!!!!!!!!!!!

Appointment went well, have my new glasses and i managed to get to driving standard with them today (not that i can drive  ) so really pleased with that.
Had a loose stitch so had that removed, problem is eye is hurting now and vision seems more blurred i really hope it hasn't made it worse feeling a bit worried :( .
I have to go back in 3months, and will probally have the rest of my stiches removed at the end of the year (scarey)

Hope you are all well :D

Hi Anne,

I'm glad to hear the appointment went well, but hope the blurred vision clears over the coming few days.

How did it feel to have the stitch removed?

Chris, It didn't feel anything having the stitch removed. I have had 3 removrd now and you can not feel a thing.
This is the first time i have had pain after a stitch being removed, well its more like a ache than a pain. I am sure it will sort itself out over night :D

off to Barcelona for a girly weekend on Friday so need to be fit and well. That's if i manage to get a passport sorted out tomorrow
I should probaly go on another Forum now something like iamaidiot.com

Anne,

Glad that things are going well with you! The vision does get worse when you have stitches removed but it is so good when you have all been taken out as then it can only get better!!!

Take care!
