I've been wearing Synergeyes for about 4 months now. They are great! I was supposed to be wearing Softperms before but I never actually wore them because the were too uncomfortable. With my Synergeyes, i dont even feel them in my eye. I have worn the up to 16 hours with no problem.

To the person that said that they had pain after a few days of wearing them, it is possible that they weren't fitted properly. I had the same problem until the doctor changed the curve on the contact. It took me a while to get the right fit but it was well worth it. Like I said, I don't feel them one bit.

Thanks for the reply Juice - they sound great!
Unfortunately my optometrist was unable to obtain some of these at the recent congress in Las Vegas. He is still desperately trying to get them in as he deals with a lot of KC patients.
I think I would have had my intacs put in the other eye by the time he gets them ..

My contact lens fitter here in France told me recently that the Synergeyes people had decided to postpone marketing their lens in Europe for the time being.
Any news of when they might be available in the U.K.?

Bruce,

If there is a delay to market in France I would wager the same would apply to the UK. Rather than get their lenses cleared in each country it is often more cost effective for them to go through the EU regulatory authority.

You're undoubtedly right, Gareth.
I wonder if the delay is due to regulatory hurdles or to difficulty in keeping up with the demand in the States.

Probably both if everyone has had the sam experience as our American and Canadian friends who have tried them.
