Opticians in Glasgow

Postby DC » Mon 27 Nov 2006 1:41 pm

Hi there.

I am currently 6 months off getting a graft, and I require a new pair of glasses (old ones to be used as spares). Are there any opticians in the Glasgow area that specialise in KC or should I just go to the one I always used to go to (Specsavers).

DC

I go to 20/20 on the corner of Wilson Street and Glassford Street. This is pretty close to both Queen Street and Central Station, and if you are using the low level trains through Central it is extremely handy for Argyll Street.

I have never had contact lenses from them, but they do my glasses.

Last time I was there I had well over an hour of "chair time".

All the best

The optometrist I see at 20/20 is very good and genuinely interested in Keratoconus.

All the best
