Which NHS centres do INTACS surgery?

Finally been listed for surgery by my consultant at St Paul's. He has told me that they still haven't had the funding fully appproved but expect it within 3 months and that if after this time they can't do it at St Paul's he will transfer me out to another centre to have my right eye done.

Which other NHS centres do the INTACS surgery?

I am not too sure about the situation now. I do know that the first two NHS hospitals to offer Intacs were St Thomas in London and St James in Newcastle.

But, since then, lots of hospitals have had proposals to their local ethics committees to begin to offer this surgery. I guess that like topsy, the number actually offering the service has hust kept growing.

I had my intacs done at the centre for sight queen victoria hospital in East Grinstead. The intacts were done on the NHS the consultant has one appointment a month for NHS patients.
