Eye drops for itchy eyes

Postby JaneWebb » Wed 19 Apr 2006 4:09 pm

I've used Rapitil on prescription for the last few years. It's very soothing especially in the hayfever season.
They don't stain my eyes but if ur not careful, can stain your clothes yellow if you miss the spot!!
And you can keep your lenses in at the same time.

Yes i was wondering if these drops are yellow, and what Carole is seeing is a residue of the drop? Maybe that is why it is the inner part of the cornea, or maybe i misread that!

I know some drops are yellow, i can't remember the one which used to annoy me now, but yes it does make a mess if you get it on your clothes!

Do you hve an emergency clinic at the eye hospital? sometimes this is called eye casualty.

I really think it would be a good idea to hve somebody look at David's eye.

I would imagine that we do have an A&E at the Eye Hospital we certainly used to - but the yellow is not there at the moment and as David has decided not to use the drops for a couple of days it will be interesting to see if it stays away? The drops appear to be colourless to me but I am going to have my eldest take a look just incase I am wrong.
