I do suffer from hayfever, but not till quite late on, usually. I bought a hayfever blend of oils for my oilburner, which I find pretty good. It smells good and is nice to have on any where in the house, but especially in the bedroom before going to sleep.

ANti hay fever oils - now there's a thought!
THe doctor in A&E did recommend massage as a recovery measure - so will have to see what I can do about that.
I don't know about ophthalmology A&E depts, Andrew - they would probably want to move you on the grounds that someone lying on the floor is a health and safety risk! - not to mention blocks the way of staff walking through ignoring everyone. But you'd have to have a good reason for doing it and not getting straight back in a chair. COuld you claim you'd fallen off a horse recently and had a really painful bum??

(still limping about stiffly but improving)

Well I did ride horses at one time, and I did even fall off, but the worst injury I ever got was when I was fell running, and tried to cross a scree slope.
I know this was unwise, and remembered as the scree gave way beneath me, just why I had been thinking that I ought to avoid this apparent "short cut". On that occasion I was in serious danger of being given a free ride in an RAF search and rescue helicopter, but I managed to limp away from the first aid tent, and continued to limp for several weeks thereafter.
The doc at AandE told me that my injury might return to give me some trouble in my 40’s. I dismissed his concern; what concern was it to a twenty seven year old that he might suffer some discomfort in his 40’s.
When my 40’s arrived I realized just how stupidly cavalier I had been!
All the best R.
