Hi there,

Yep, Mr Shephard is my man, and he is very good bless him, ive been with him for 9 years ever since the condition started, in and out like a yo yo to get different lenses, then push came to shove and got the graphs done.

Yeah, the surgeon said it was quite a large graph, had it done at addenbrookes, Mr Kur Muir did the graph. What you would have liked was for the surgeon to have a very good day that day and you come out of the operation and a few months down the line you can see perfectly. Sods law. But i know Mr Shephard will come through.

I usually see Mr Shephard once a month.

Many thanks Jay UK.

P.S. What is your vision like and what type of graphs have you had?

Ravi

I had a PK in my right eye and am waiting for a graft in my left. My vision now is 6/9.

Your very large graft sounds scary. Was this a first or replacement?

I agree, Tony def is the more experienced Optometrist as far as KC is concerned and is probably one of the most knowledgeable I have come across....I think the difference here is the fact that he sees so many patients both at his practice and on NHS and thus has/can gain extensive knowledge and experience.....obviously his lens designing cant help either! :-)

I currently have one graft performed and another shortly in my other eye. I see quite well....as in 6/9 - 6/12 in the grafted eye with Glasses....
