I requested them to refund back my money, which they did (S$3,200). Although it is only half of what I spent. I guess Singapore is still small enough to travel conveniently even without a car. It is still my wish to drive one.. Hai~ Haha..

* I'm not familiar with the exchange rate between Singapore Dollars and UK Pound. My estimate is one pound to 3.32 dollars.

One singapore dollar will buy 0.36 GB pounds.

We had friends in Singapore, but they have moved now to Tokyo. Ah well!

All the best

Yup! That's the national anthem "Majulah Singapura" (Onward Singapore) in Malay, our national language. A pity that the composer died few weeks ago..

Yo.. Back to KC.

Are there any other types of food which are supposedly good for KC eyes? My family recommended raw red carrots (which are super bitter) and wolfsberries soup (which has an empowering stench).

I did see a report that KC was associated with a magnesium deficiency.

Go to

http://www.ctds.info/magnesium.html#Keratoconus

Not sure how dependable it is, but foods that are rich in magnesium include: Peanuts, all types, roasted ; Tofu, raw, regular; Peanuts, all types, raw; Broccoli, cooked; Spinach, cooked; Chard, Swiss, cooked; Soybeans, cooked; Tomato paste, canned; Simulated meat products, meat extender; Small white beans, cooked; Sweet potato, canned, mashed; Black beans, cooked; Dock (sorrel), cooked; Nuts & seeds, all types; Pumpkin seeds; Chestnuts; Chili with beans, canned; White beans, cooked; Baked beans; Navy beans, cooked; Peanut butter; Succotash, cooked; Beet greens, cooked; Lima beans, baby, cooked; Refried beans, canned; Mung beans, cooked; Artichoke, cooked; Pinto beans, cooked; Whole grain cereals, ready-to-eat; Blackeyed peas, dried, cooked; Okra, cooked; Great Northern beans; Squash, acorn, baked; Lima beans, large, cooked; Kidney beans, all types, cooked; Chickpeas, cooked; Purslane, cooked; Yogurt, low fat varieties; Broadbeans, cooked; Split peas, cooked; Lentils, cooked; Milk, fluid, all types

I still don't know what Succotash is :?

andrew

So they say. Don't know how much credence this sourt of claim ought to be give, and I don't know whether it is possible significantly to vary mg alance by diet. If the association is genuine it may as easily be caused by the want of an enzyme that enables the body to absorb mg as with a dietary deficiencly.

I hve always eather and enjoyed pulses, nuts etc.
