Jay is right that the 6/12 and 6/21-2 (though I think this may be 6/24 -2) is your corrected vision. The left vision means that you only just get the 6/24 line which is the third line down on an eye chart.

Both eyes show astigmatism - more in your left than your right and basically you are being referred because they cannot get your vision up to normal standards with glasses - which is typical for Keratoconus.

Distorted mires mean that when they measure your corneal curvature, the images on the machine look distorted - this again is typical of keratoconus as the uneven surface of your eye distorts the images reflected back into the machine.

Lens discomfort - everyone feels initial discomfort with rigid lenses but this mostly wears off as your eyelids adapt.

The main thing here is that you are finally doing something about it :) The contacts will help you see much better than glasses can!!
