or the drunken mates who thought it would be funny to put your contact lenses down the sink and see how you funny it would be to watch you manage without them and actually still remain friends :)

:D Oh well caz, I defer to your greater experience on that one :D

I had a friend at University who used to carry his lenses in his mouth, wedged up between his upper lip and the gum ridge that held his upper teeth.

He always used to say that he was careful about cleaning them afterwards, before he put them back, but I never saw any evidence of that care being exercised

 you mean my mates were dafter than yours, actually its funny because by remaining friends over the years i get my revenge by reminding them in front of their kids just what sort of stupid antics they got up to when they were younger

i feel we have diversed slightly from the original thread but i hope it shows that life goes on for all us KC sufferers and has said before, one of us has been there and done it all before so your among friends who really can relate to to your problems :)

i always say with KC a sense of humour really does help you get through the bad days 8)

Carol,

I favour women who go for the natural look, never got the hang of the taste of makeup during a drunken snog :D

Never sufferd eye infections, but then again the area I used to play rugby was probably pretty sterile after it got irradted with nuclear fall out from the Chernobyl disaster. Iradiated myself a bit on the farm I worked at, I used to put milk on by Frosties straight from the cows udder, as fresh as you can get.

It was a good few days before we were told to start tipping the milk down the drain because of the readiation!

Take comfort in this, as we are predicted to live until we are into three figures, you still have many years before you reach middle age. Plus I think mental age is more relevent, in which case I am not a teenager yet :D

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder :D

My chat up line when I was at college was 'Look deep into my eyes and you can see my operation scar.'

The girls would and they would have to get close, well then it is all too easy to steal a kiss

Now married to one of those dumb blonds  I mean my lovely gorgeous careing wife :D

On the subject of computers, I have just droped a drawing pin in the curser arrow keys, so now when I move the curser I get a stabbing paing in my finger.

Any ideas beyond stop using those keys?

I have Gareth - inflict pain elsewhere to distract yourself from the pain of using the keys!

thank you all for your replies. i think bethan needs to come on line to talk to people with KC, she is a normal 15 year old. (most of the time). if she keeps her lenses clean it will be a first.
