Re: How do they take the Stitches out?
I had one continuous stitch. When it came out I had to sit in the chair whilst he first cut all the joins and then using a small pair of tweezers pulled all the strands out. Afterwards I was on a dose of eyedrops, I believe pred forte for a month. Started at a high dose and cut it down each week. Gl...

Re: Hard contact won't stay in place.
Thanks Gareth. I look forward to building up my wear time to something similar to yours. Hopefully it won't take too long to get used to my Dil lens. On a good note I've found I can put it in and get it out without too much difficulty. Roll back a couple of years and there would have been no way I c...

Re: Hard contact won't stay in place.
Thanks for the tips. I've returned from the hospital. I popped in to the K+C first thing wednesday morning and they were great. They put themselves out and managed to make room for me in their tight schedule. :D I saw the optician and things are looking up again. I'll be getting a new contact, a sli...

Re: Hard contact won't stay in place.
Thanks for the replies. :D I'll give the hospital a call on wednesday morning, it's the only time I believe the hospital optician is working. Hopefully they'll be able to tweak it a bit. Such a shame as after wearing it for an hour the first day and an 90 minutes the second all seemed to be going ra...

Hard contact won't stay in place.
Greetings and happy new year to you all. I've recently been given a hard contact to wear and with it regained a little sight. :D The problem now being in that I put the contact in and as soon as I blink it moves. It was fine when I had it fitted at the hospital and it was fine the next day when I pu...

Re: Update: Nearly made it to 2 years without rejection
My Ticker is good thanks and the operation went well. Have to return for yearly tests and just keep an eye on it but it's been good. :D I had the heart op last year, followed by my graft 2 months later. So they'll slowly rebuilding me. :D By the way what eye casualty unit do you go to? I've gone to ...

Re: Update: Nearly made it to 2 years without rejection
Hi Paul, It's been a while. :D Sorry to hear about your current rejection episode, oddly enough I'm going through the same thing. I'm also on Pred Forte and Maxitrol ointment at night. I had a splendid first year with little trouble, only to recently be hit with a niggling rejection that has a habit...

Thanks for that,
I think I'll have to get one for myself.
Any recommendations of which type is best?

Re: KC and Flying
Kent Welcome to the forum! I regularly flew in commercial airliners, and usually took my lenses out before the flight. I also went skydiving and kept my lenses in for jumping, although I wore goggles so that if my lens popped out in mid-air, I should not have to chase them. I guess that people with...

Is your local pharmacy part of a group or is there another reason why they are restricted in their use of suppliers?
Andrew
I was on those too, are yours the one drop disposables?
