Tough one - I'm in a similar but not exactly the same situation. Ultimately, I have chosen not to risk a transplant in my bad eye - As I can 'get by' without needing one. Sounds like something I don't really want to have to go through unless absolutely necessary.

Glad to see positivity from someone who's certainly had a rough old time of things. Makes me even more annoyed at the constant negativity I hear (mainly at work) from people without any real problems... they just like to moan for the sake of it.
