Re: Travel Insurance for graftees
Hi, I went on a weeks white water rafting holiday for my 30th birthday with my twin sister a year after my graft. I was still on eye drops as I had about 6 stitches left, but the holiday company insured me for only about £10 more even though it was an activity holiday where I was more likely to have...

Re: what can optoms do differently?

I hope that you hear from a lot of friends here which will help you! :D I was diagnosed at 14 by a local optom who tried very h...

Re: Looking for advice about KC
Rich, Hi there and welcome to the site! I would agree with Andrew here in seeing a KC specialist who can diagnose you properly and talk through your options. As for the cornea being too thin and steep, I wouldn't be thinking about getting laser treatment done. Most wouldn't do this on people with KC...

Shame it is so far away and Button will be arriving soon, only three weeks to go!
Hehe, have been a guinea pig having lenses fitted loads now, hoping you get a good response. It is good in helping to teach new people how to fit lenses for us.

Re: pins and needles
Do get this checked out as it has gone on for some time and not improved. I'm guessing that you are not wearing a lens in that eye? I know that you said that it is the eye you are getting grafted in March.
Take care and let us know how you get on.
