Hi Lio,
This is the standard thing to do get topographies then check for progression in 6 months. Give avoid eye rubbing especially hard and onto your cornea. They will know enough to make a decision at the 6 month check. You're very lucky to have had it caught at this stage.
Good luck,
Andrew

Not an expert. However, if I remember correctly this can actually significantly thin your central cone?

Thank you for this Claire and Anne. I found it hard to figure out where to go initially but put in a couple just now on the draft document.

Re: Best monitor for windows user
You could do a lot worse than the one I've got, it's a 24" 16:10 panel, IPS panel. The 16:10 ratio is better for everything aside from watching films. IPS panels are generally clearer and reproduce colour better. http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B005LNDPPS/ref=pe_217191_31005151_M3T1_dp_1 The mount w...

Have they checked your total corneal thickness since (not the calculated preop residual)? How bad is your vision?

Re: Current research into long term corneal damage after CXL
Mouse was that the Wellington Eye Clinic? If so when I had a consultation CXL it was said that in the case that even following CXL you couldn't tolerate lenses and a transplant was required. That the transplant "button" would have a more stable base to go into and so would still provide a ...

Re: Current research into long term corneal damage after CXL
With the usual massive caveats of being a complete layman. However, I'll offer up my humble opinion on this specific paper anyway. Firstly in the cases where CXL is recommended (i.e. progression in the last 6 months) then not having it done isn't a zero risk option. Also CXL does have a significant ...

I agree, I've got a Nexus 4 phone and it really is great to use (which is or similar resolution). For £240 sim free don't break the bank either (for a smart phone anyway).

I get that too. Do you have one fairly bad eye even corrected? I've been wondering if in my case I'm crossing eyes or something.
