Re: Glad to Hear Your News

Hi Diamond Welcome and thanks for your post, and for the decision you had to make at a very difficult time. I had KC for 30 years before I needed a graft. I could no longer tolerate a contact lens for any length of time and was in a considerable amount of pain. I was basically going to work, coming ...

Re: Droopy eyelid-alternative lenses to RGP's

Yep i have got that after 37 years of RGP wear. When I have a topography on my graft they have to hold the lid up. I have put it down to wear and tear on the lids by inseting and blinking the lenses out .

Re: Cataract and lens implant

Hi Russel
Well things have happened quicker than expected. They are taking the sutures out a week today. All done under a local. As I will have the surgeons undivided attention for half an hour I'll ask the question :D

All the best

Are you still having to have it done privately ? It wasn't something that the consultant mentioned in clinic so I assumed...

Re: IS A GRAFT A GOOD IDEA?

Hi Jonathan If you want an honest opion you seriously need to reconsider your motivations. It is by no means "obvious" that you will get better eye sight. Nor Is it certain that you will not require a lens. A lot of people still require lenses the graft generally give a wider choice of Len...
