Re: Intacs - stitches or no stitches?
Hi Karl, Thanks. That helps. I think its fear of the unknown more than the actual act itself. I'm the sort of person who likes to have all the facts - if I buy a new gadget or something expensive I read all the reviews, ask lots of people etc. before I buy it. I guess this is the same. I know the st...

Not the best as I dont recover well from GA but still, better than seeing whats going on I guess! Just a quick que...

Re: Intacs update
Hi TimTim,
As I understand it silicon hydrogels are only of use to KC'ers who have had some kind of fix, such as Intacs or a graft. I may be wrong (I often am) but thats how I understand it.

Re: Intacs update
Hi Alice, I've just had a big search around the site looking for a name! Stephen 'B', a member of the group has had intacs fitted and spoke at this years conference - I know for a fact, as I asked him lots of questions :) that he is now wearing silcon hydrogels after the op and finding them very com...

Re: Intacs update
Hi Alice, Sorry to hear you're having a bad time of it. Have a big bear hug on me :D I may be wrong (I often am) but I've read somewhere during my own Intacs research that sensitivity to light can be all over the place in the first few months after the op but does settle down as the eye heals. I gue...
