Re: Diagnosis of KC and next steps
I'm not a professional, so ignore my comments with impunity. :D But IMHO basically if you can see ok so far I wouldn't be jumping into any procedures. Fundamentally procedures have risk and if you can see ok, you can see ok. If in 3 months there are signs of progression and BUPA will pay then cross-...

Re: Piggy backing - a sincere recommendation
Congrats on the improvement. Personally I use a monthly (think it's even 24hr wear) soft contact under the RGP, I think they are meant to have excellent oxygen permeability? They are pretty robust too. The only problem I've noticed is that my eye does dry out if I wear them for very long, but I just...

More a of a research enabler than pure research I suppose. It's just that as someone who has moved around a lot I know th...

Re: keraflex
Thanks for the updates a43. Keraflex is quite exciting really, recognising that it's still early for the whole technique. Your comment on the early calculations is pretty interesting too, suppose they are still perfecting the "doses"?

Re: Loss of Contrast
Weirdly my "good" eye (soft lens) seems to show less contrast sensitivity than my bad one (piggy backed even then not great). I've no idea why though but ti is quite pronounced. I had a casual search on the internet and it looks as though the way the brain deals with the information it get...
