Re: After a few months in RGP's...
I had the problem with the hazyness on the lens and in my case things improved when I switched to using a seperate cleaner and conditioner. There was a protein build up on the lens. Now I rarely get the hazy problem.

Re: Eyelid Stays Open While I Sleep
My mum has this problem, not because of KC she has other problems. She sleeps with something called Gelliperm over her eyes and uses lots of lubricting eye drops.
Things got bad a year or so ago and she had ulcers forming on her cornea so go and see your gp asap.

I really dreaded trying hard lenses, I worried myself sick! It was easier than I expected and at the end of the wear time didnt want to remove them!

1. How the heck do youi put them in....I have the lens balanced on the tip of my ring finger, I hold my upper lid up with the other hand and use my index finger to on the hand holding the lens to hold the lower lid down then put the lens in, I was not allowed to take the lenses home without a lesson...

Re: Clueless newcomer!!
Hiya, I found out I had KC nearly a year ago and within 3 months it had progressed to the point where they said they could no longer help me and wrote to my gp, she refered me to the eye hospital and they refered me to a lens fitter who runs a clinic at the hospital. In the 3 months from finding out...
