can't say exactly what it does, but i understood that when they take the stitches out there is a little bit of damage around where the stitches were, and the drops are to prevent infection/rejection......

yip. i was told to wait 2 weeks before being fitted with glasses etc so that the eye can settle.....
hope the removal goes well. how are they doing it? in the opthamologists office?

when camping or sailing etc... i often use little individual sterile wipes- which are intended for people with blepharitis.... 'Blephadosis' made by Thea (France). my doc says they are fine and you can even wipe the inside of your lids... i get them at my optometrist, but can't tell you where to get...

each doctor and each eye seems to be different.... i also had my stitches in for about 9 months, and they were removed one by one and then the remaining running stitch all at once. the eye stabilised nicely after the stitches were taken out and i was able to be fitted with glasses to get better than...

:shock: shame lea- that doesn't sound good. try to relax and take it easy this weekend. it may only be one eye, but the infections will put a strain on your body and relaxing will help them heal faster....

other non-medical options which are reported to work: - flaxseed oil tablets-they are not too expensive and also good for your hair and skin.. apparently they improve the quality of the oils secreted with your tears helping them to last longer - a humidifier under your desk... to keep your local env...
