Re: Relaxing Incisions
Hi Andrew, good to see you again too :D I've been "visiting" the forum but not posting for a while. Unfortunately my son has inherited KC from me and had to have a corneal transplant in his right eye last month. He's 29 and considerably younger than I was when I had my first eye done. He's...

Re: can any one suggest d best place to do CXL in UK?
My surgeon mentioned CXL could be used to treat my son while we were at St Paul's Eye Hospital in July, we're back there next week so I'll see whether it's available there yet.

Relaxing Incisions
I've been given the option of having "relaxing incisions" since my graft in 2005 - vision + 6 and have "tilting" effect with glasses. Has anyone else had them? To be honest I really don't like the idea of it, but if my vision can be helped it may be worth a try!

My Optician has gradually increased the prescription for that eye with 4 lenses over a period of about 8 weeks. I'm currently wearing lens no. 3 with lens no. 4 with full pr...

Re: Keratoconus on Facebook
Groups can be added, so I think a KC one could be added fairly easily. It's a nice way to share photos with friends and a few of us from the Runners World forums have a Facebook page too.

Re: eye rubbing
I used to rub my eyes all the time, even post graft. However since I've cut sugary foods, including chocolate from my diet ( I'm a total chocoholic and really miss it!), plus reduced bread and coffee I hardly ever rub them. My hands which tend to be dry and itchy have improved too. I've also stopped...
