Welcome to the forum How recent is recent ? When I had my graft it was uncomfortable for 24 hours or so rather than painful. Your eye has had major trauma so it will take time. When are you due to go back to the hospital ?

Make sure you do keep the eye well lubricated. Even if you feel fine as the soft lens can dry out. This is especially important before you remove the soft lens ( put some drops in first).
