Graft- stitch too tight- any similar experience?
Hi, i had my graft last November 2007, its all been ok so far, and the vision gets better and better, ie clearer every week. Have had odd bouts of extreme light sensitivity, pain etc but nothing major that some drops, rest etc didnt help. always looking out for RSVP But I noticed I more or less had ...

Re: Cleaning RGPS with fairy liquid
you can buy handy travel sizes of saline, which are great for carrying around. I found some in Boots and they were ideal for holidays.
re washing up liquid and tap water, its a daft idea, possibly dangerous, and thats my opinion.

someone told me once ( I havent tried it) if you drop a hard lens on the floor you can get it by putting a tights over the end of the hoover and then the lens won't go up the pipe, as it were.

Re: Cleaning RGPS with fairy liquid
sorry but I think its really irresponsible to have this sort of thread and replies- tap water and washing up liquid? this is totally ridiculous. I would only ever use proper solutions, and I if I have to go without something in order to afford the right solutions then so be it. I already pay £51 eve...

Re: Cornea graft - please help
I had a left eye graft last November, I had very little vision in the eye, so nothing to lose, it was beyond lens and glasses by then. it went well and so far all is good, I won't bore you with the detail and any particular things that happened to me in isolation for fear of putting you off and scar...

Re: My Corneal Graft
Andrew- that's a bit harsh- 'degenerated'? 'deeply regret'? this is a forum, and people want to discuss things that matter to them related to KC, no one was belittling anything Armpal said, I started by agreeing with him about the great gift we have received, merely pointing out that its a shame mor...

Re: My Corneal Graft
agree wholeheartedly- and since my graft I have signed up to the NHS online donor programme http://www.uktransplant.org.uk/ukt/how_to_become_a_donor/how_to_become_a_donor.jsp so they can have whatever they like for donating or research after I have gone. Desperate need for more donors T...
