Welcome to the forum! There's a bit of information if you havent already seen on the homepage under treatment options explained. I don't know too much about Intacs myself, so I'll let others fill you in with this.

Re: Quantum of Solace
I was a bit disappointed really. As you said Andrew, it was not the best, but not the worst either. I miss the cheesiness Pierce Brosnan brought to the films - but then again that's probably because he was the 'Bond of my generation'. And the wee lassies with no shoes on is not just reserved for Hal...

Hi Lucy, welcome to the forum.
I doubt very much that the graft will interfere with your pregnancy, but check with your opthalmologist, as they will make sure that the eye drops you will be taking won't be of any effect. All the best with your graft and do let us know how you get on!

I'm a bit late with the congrats, but anyway, congratulations! Are you enjoying your foundation placement? Have you decided if you want to specialise in anything? All the best to you.

Hi there, havent been on the forums for a while, and was just reading through your story there. It was very interesting to read, and hope all goes well! My intraocular pressure is a bit raised too at the moment, so was interesting to read about your experiences.

Re: Epithelium not growing after graft
Firstly, I'm sorry to hear about this and hope the contact lens bandage helps. Do let us know how you get on with it. I don't know if there are any good websites explaining the process of epithelial growth, although I can share my vague understanding of what is supposed to happen. The epithelium is ...

Welcome to the forum Zelf! There is not really an 'easy way out', but there are many different lenses that may be suitable for you. Ask your optometrist who may be able to give you some more information about this.

Re: My Corneal Graft
Don't worry about the thread folks - it's interesting to hear everyone's views! Funnily enough, I hadn't read the posts about blood donation and organ transplantation till just now. Earlier on today I went to donate blood at the donor centre, and was quite surprised that I cannot donate blood anymor...
