Re: Anyone else in the same boat?

Well I said that I may update through here occasionally so here goes... The white sticks have been consigned to various places with a determination that they will not see the light of day again. People at work have generally been supportive although it is one of those real Elephant in the room scena...

Re: DLA &Keratoconus

Hiya - I have KC. I had to stop driving 7 years ago as no degree of correction makes me legally able to drive. I have had grafts but with limited success. In April my consultant decided that I should now consider registration as Partially Sighted - which I have now done. I have no entitlements to an...

Re: How we can make sure money goes to research into KC

Come on everyone - it took me less than 5 minutes - this isn't just about us but it's potentially about the future of our kids.

Re: First RGP - Advice Needed

Re: Hi from a newbie

Hi Jennie - how did it go at hospital yesterday? Sometimes I set myself up a bit by expecting to find out everything I need to know when actually what I need to do is to take a breath, absorb and reflect... Hope you are ok and post on here when you can.

Re: First Anniversary

Bit worried GPC - no mention of your mankini in your list of what you are taking. Have a fab time - munch on a couple of kebabs for me. Let us know how 7/7 goes.

Re: First Anniversary

GPC - you have gone very quiet - I'm hoping that is because everything is Ok? Silence is usually a sign of good news but just checking!!!

Re: Hi from a newbie

Hi Jennie - a very warm welcome! Hope it goes OK at hospital - once you know a bit more I am sure that will be when others will be in a better position to support you. KC tends to be a rather individual - it tends to affect us all in different ways at different times - hence the diversity of members...
