Drops emergency
Lost my only bottle of dexamethasone preservative free 1mg drops, hoping my pharmacy can get tomorrow.
If they can't, guess it's pharmacy trawling with paper prescription..but if by any chance anyone in London has a spare, I'd be willing to pay for it to be sent to me in a cab if cabbie would do that

Re: Keratoconus friendly opticians
I can recommend Taylor-West & Co, Sophie is excellent, branches in Sussex, Battersea, Dulwich. It's private. I came to know because I sought extra help outside of hospital optometry when I was struggling with lens management. So there's the option of doing that. Obviously buying lenses would be ...

Re: DMEK experience
bandage lens removed (yay), hopefully it will stay out so long as there's no pain, but if I did I'd have to go back to A&E for another one. The ulcer has healed, no filaments, a bit of oedema, graft mostly attached but a couple of areas still not but it's not compromising. There's some vision th...

Re: DMEK experience
Back surface of DMEK more attached, front surface is v dry but erosion is slowly healing. Bandage lens replaced, had to get optometry to do it as I'm like a cat at the vet for that lol. V little vision, 3 big letters a metre away from me, nothing through the pin hole, hoping the previous lamellar ma...

Re: DMEK experience
Thanks Anne, today is the first good day, eye open, no excruciating pain, so I'm hoping the front surface erosion might be healing under this bandage lens.

Re: DMEK experience
Having difficulty with other eye, my RGP, lens 'sticking' to cornea, hard getting it out, flooding it with hypromellose, keep scraping.
I'm wondering if it's because my bad eye is closed most of the time so I'm holding my lens eye differently?
