Re: "SO2Clear" contact lens

Just for the sake of further information, I wear Comfort 02 Lenses. This link will tell you far more than I ever could. http://www.davidthomas.com/pdfs/Comfort_02_bro.pdf My experience with them is really very good...comfortable to wear, easy to care for and I can usually wear them all day. I'm not ...

Re: Keeping those lenses clean...

Don't disagree with anything above...it's all about being fastidious and thorough and well...the proof of the pudding is in the eating...no eye pain or headaches for months!

Keeping those lenses clean...

I haven't been on here for some time, but thought I'd drop by to share my recent experiences with my KC. Now having read my story, some of you will doubtless say I am very daft, and I wouldn't disagree. I was having lots of trouble with my hybrid (soft edge hard centre) RGP lenses, in terms of toler...

Systane

I always buy my Systane from Postoptics on line but I note recently that the rather splendid offer they were running of buy 5 get one free has ended. They charge £6.25 for a 10ml bottle with free delivery. Does anyone know anywhere else on line that I can beat that...or does anyone know a decent alt...

Re: KC and Lens help

infact this is actually what i do when i put them in, i dont try to put them straight in the middle but drop them at the bottom and then push them gentley up. Well well Jackie...and I thought I was the only one that did that. My Optom winced when I discussed it, but agreed if it worked for m...

Re: ice pack on eyes=good

Wholeheartedly recommend the cool treatment. My wife bought a 'Chillo' (cold pillow - gel filled thing) from a Sunday Supplement. She likes a cold pillow in bed and seems to like this gel filled monstrosity. However I soon found that it fitted well over my eyes, nose and forehead and soothed everyth...

Re: which KC symptom that affects you the most?

Yep, drives me mad that does. I can get away with glasses at a PC for about 30 mins before the headaches start...therefore working is out of the question. You can understand other's ignorance and in some respects its your/my fault for not educating them, but it's soooo hard. Easier to say nothing I ...

Re: which KC symptom that affects you the most?

It's not a symptom as such that gets me down (although many do)...but the whole having to explain KC thing. There was a quite brilliant piece in the last newsletter about KC being a part-time disability. I'd never thought of it like that before but the author was absolutely correct. It explained how...

Re: Feeling a bit sorry for myself

Hi Dawn.

Gave my eye a decent 24 rest and all feels much better now.

Lens back in now and will take it out earlier than usual tonight.

Only downside to things is that I'm back at work now :(

Hope you do well.

Paul
