I have glasses and RGPs currently, but not glasses to wear over contact lenses. I was wondering what the benefits are of wearing glasses over contacts, other than them not having to be like bottle bottoms!

I have done pretty much everything in glasses. Looking at computers, driving etc. I prefer to wear contacts though. I have quite a high astigmatism so the optom was surpised at how well glasses corrected my vision. I am -3.50 left eye and -9.50 right. The only way to really tell as Chris says is go ...

Should be fine as you are wearing goggles, which is recommended if swimming with lenses in. RGPs also have a tendency to float off the cornea, but sclerals shouldn't have that problem!!

Maybe give them a good clean straight after you finish swimming to be safe.

I think my hand towel cleanliness is a weak point. I certaintly don't wash it every day!
