Hi Ade,
sorry to hear about your problems, you really seem to be having a tough time of it. I agree with jayuk about getting a second opinion as I am sure that there must be a lens out there for you. Surely all the options must be looked at before anymore surgery. Good luck.

Hi Knight,

I like the poster but have to agree that the red on red is difficult to read. Apart from that I think it's good. Well done.

I like the poster a lot but have to agree that the red on red is difficult to focus on, I am finding that type of printing extremely difficult to read. Apart from that it's really good. Well done.

Looking at these replies allergies appear to figure a lot. I have always suffered from itchy eyes and was always being told off for rubbing me eyes, I still do and still am. I started wearing glasses for short sight and astigmatism when I was 7, it should have been sooner but no one realised I could...

He has been fortunate in that he has only just been advised to wear conta...

Susan, I can't see the cobwebs with my lenses in, well that's my excuse anyway! Trouble is hubby notices them and insists on clearing them away so bang go the decorations again!

Hi Paul, it's a small world as the song goes. Hi Susan, Although I hadn't realised that KC was notifiable to the DVLA I did inform them as soon as I was diagnosed. I have never had any queries from them apart from having to read a number plate when I needed a replacement licence. I don't knpw about ...

Hi, again. Yes I am an ancient KCer. My original optician was very good once I had been diagnosed but it got to the stage where he could do no more so referred me to another branch to see what they could do, that optician's reaction was "Oh my God you need a lens transplant like yesterday!" as you c...

Hi. Although I have visited this site on and off for the last couple of years I have only just decided to join in with all you lovely fellow KCers. I have been diagnosed since 1981, it would have been sooner but I was already wearing contact lenses. I have corneal lenses and manage reasonably well w...
