Re: Wearing a contact lens post graft

Wow! You're getting great vision with your graft despite your 'mishap'. But yes, the vision post-graft does keep gradually changing as the graft settles in, and will change again as and when you have stitches removed. So you won't know the final results until all the stitches are out. You'll need to...

Re: Graft tomorrow

Good to hear that the cough/cold didn't get in the way of the op. Have a good rest, and happy healing. At least the family know the routine now! And welcome to the 2 graft club!

Re: A THANKS, AN UPDATE, AND QUESTIONS !!

Welcome back Nicola, and congratulations on getting back to work! Re your cloudy vision, the standard advice on this forum is better safe than sorry! A call or visit to the clinic will hopefully set your mind at rest. It could just be your eye settling down after a hard time, but only the hospital c...

Re: New Member Looking for Advice

If the hospital has its own contact lens clinic, then they can supply the lenses and charge you the NHS rate. Hospitals ...

Re: is this the end?

Hi Denner I'm sorry you're having such a tough time. Although I didn't have your particular problem post graft, I did have various setbacks along the way after mine, so I know what it's like when you're looking forward to what should be the solution only to find that it isn't. You don't say how long...

Re: Intacs update

Hi Alice Yes, silicon hydrogel lenses were mentioned in the contact lens talk at our conference in June, as a new development in contact lenses. At that point they weren't yet being made for KC, but I'm pretty sure that someone who has had Intacs fitted reported on this forum that they were now wear...

Re: Are you are going to Moorfields today or tomorrow?

Thanks Anne, will do! This Group is all about helping each other, and there are lots of people on this forum (including you!) who give back in spades. I'd like to get to the point where no one ever tells me 'I've had KC for 5,10, 20 years and it's the first time I've talked to anyone with KC' becaus...
