From what i have read, the Kindle is meant to be very good and as it is open source, you can download books from a variety of places - you arent just tied to one provider.

clinitas soothe is another one that people (inc me) use for dry eye. Am sure that you will be inundated with the different solutions that we all use. Clinitas is available on the internet so hopefully would be available in Australia

I took 10 days off work after crosslinking, though my days are 8-10 hours in front of a computer screen in artifical light. i was able to use my home laptop for short periods after the first three days. for lectures, he could always arraange to record the lectures so he doesnt miss anything, and ask...

mine are being done on the nhs, it is only available at certain hospitals (my local hospital didnt have a clue about the treatment let alone offer it to me). I asked to be referred to liverpool as i knew that they had the specialist knowledge and offered intacs.

it could be either glasses or contact lenses that would be needed to correct vision after intacs - Intacs (hopefully) will make it easier to get corrected vision. I am hoping for glasses as i really struggle with contact lenses due to dry eyes. I need some correction for the right eye as (currently)...

On waiting list for Intacs

Having got back from my appointment at Liverpool Hospital this morning, i am now on the waiting list for Intac for my left eye. Consultant reckons it will be around 3 months, so after my holiday to America and hopefully before Christmas.
