People's experiences vary widely so it is difficult to give specifics about computer time etc but I would say the most important things are to be patient with yourself and listen to what your body is telling you. Good luck with your graft and I hope it as successful for you as mine have been for me....

I was told the exact same thing, but it was in the early 1980's. My gas permeables did nothing to stop my KC progressing. They just enabled me to see better, when I could stand to have them in that is as I didn't get on with them at all. I wonder how I would do now with all the different lenses and ...

My girls were both 'terry' girls. :D And I can still remember how to fold them - the nappies that is, not my girls. Cherish - can you get you little 'uns to help you rather than hinder you? Turn it into a game perhaps? My eldest was two when my youngest was born and she was a huge help to me. ...

My KC went haywire in the later stages of my last pregnancy, and like you I ended up with no lenses so I can kind of relate to what you're going through at the moment. I had my first graft when my baby was six months old and if it is any consolation once I was seeing better it wasn't my baby that lo...

I think if you have a rigid idea in your mind of how you want your life to be then KC is harder to live with. You have to be flexible and roll with the punches. If you put your mind to it there are ways round nearly every problem. My KC has forced me to make changes in my life that would be unthinka...

Even though it's been many years since my grafts I am thankful every day for the sight they give me and that they have allowed me to get rid of my incredibly painful lenses and go back to wearing glasses. To be able to slip my specs on and see well will never get old. What I do find sad is how peopl...

Oh Val I can well understand your frustration. :( When I've had trouble with my stitches they irritate me so much I have to have them sorted asap. A month's wait would be intolerable. I had individual stitches in one eye and a continuous in the other. They have always been happy to take individual o...
