Hi Ade,
sorry to hear about your problems, you really seem to be having a tough time of it. I agree with jayuk about getting a second opinion as I am sure that there must be a lens out there for you. Surely all the options must be looked at before anymore surgery. Good luck.

Looking at these replies allergies appear to figure a lot. I have always suffered from itchy eyes and was always being told off for rubbing me eyes, I still do and still am. I started wearing glasses for short sight and astigmatism when I was 7, it should have been sooner but no one realised I could...

Hi Paul, it's a small world as the song goes. Hi Susan, Although I hadn't realised that KC was notifiable to the DVLA I did inform them as soon as I was diagnosed. My original optician was very good once I had been diagnosed but it got to the stage where he could do no more so referred me to another branch to see what they could do, that optician's reaction was "Oh my God you need a lens transplant like yesterday!" as you c...

Hi. Although I have visited this site on and off for the last couple of years I have only just decided to join in with all you lovely fellow KCers. I have been diagnosed since 1981, it would have been sooner but I was already wearing contact lenses. I have corneal lenses and manage reasonably well w...
