Anyone else watch Royal Flying Dotcors last night?

National Geographic are currently showing a series about the Royal Flying Doctor Service, the second of the 2 episodes last night featured a KC patient.

Next week they are showing the intacs operation.

The first question would be why your GP did not do a referral, even if it was to your local hospital's opthamology clinic as your partner has already been diagnosed with KC and this will be in his GP record. In my opinion your partner has the right to see a specialist about his KC as this will then ...

A year on and the best way of describing the feeling in my implanted eye is... different.

The right eye is more sensitive to light and tires more easily then the left.

Worse symptom, eyes tiring quickly. Finish a day at work absolutely shattered, and that's with regular screen breaks.

The main problem was getting at the back up discs, Id put them in a top cupboard right at the back, and couldn't reach them because of the shoulder op I've just had :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: Even funnier was watching the OH trying to get them - think little legs and short arms.

Mmmmmm...... some dozy person managed to bust their PC in a big way. You no longer have to be registered as disabled anymore. I am covered by the DDA under the terms of disability despite having Intacs surgery last year as prior to this I came under the definition of disabled. However my consultant would not register me a partially sighted prior to the surgery as he ...
