Re: KC patient : RGP lenses : CXL

Hi Lynn, Many Thanks for your kind inputs. My doctor said that RGP will be fitted in treated eye after 5-6 months. Is there any chances of central scarring if RGP are fitted even after 5-6 months of CXL treatment? I heard a lot about KeraSoft lenses and its results and I am very much interested to g...

Re: I am quite happy today .....

Thanks for your reply. KC causes light sensitivity. Even I can't tolerate sun light much and thats why Glasses are on whenever I am out in sunlight. Are you not going to try RGP lenses first for your eye. Or you may also like to try synergeyes lenses --> http://www.synergeyes.com/ probably synergeye...

Re: how much time does it take to recover after having CXL?

Hi Akash,

After CXL, eye heal back in 2-3 days time. But you get a foggy/hazy vision upto 3-4 week.

But as the case in KC that one eye is better so you can always study with better eye.

So, go ahead with CXL..if you are taking treatment for one eye and other is better :)

Cheers,
Deepak
