I'm wondering if it is normal that my eyes are sore most of the time, and it seems like it goes around to the back of my eyes. It feels like it's from my eyes working hard to focus, hence the headaches, etc.
Does anyone else get this?

Re: Treatment with laser
I have spent the past week or so talking to people who have had the surgery/doctors who have performed it, etc... What I have gathered is that a good number of people have had good results from it, but there is some risk, since some tissue is removed. One doctor told me that if corneal scarring occu...

Treatment with laser
I posted a lot if this information in the topic called "corneoplastics", but I wanted to re-post it because I am seeking some advice. I went to my eye surgeon last Friday, and he told me that he wants to do surgery with a laser on my left eye. He said that my left cornea is about 470 micro...

Re: Corneoplastics
After doing some research online, this link is what seems to be the most like what he is talking about.
http://www.escrs.org/eurotimes/august2002/prk.asp
I don't recall him calling it PRK, but maybe it is close to it, or he calls it by another name.

Re: Corneoplastics
Well I went in to see him this morning...just got back. My dad went with me as well to help me out. I will try to explain what he said as well as I can, and as well as I understood it...and I apologize if I don't explain everything as well as possible since I'm not an expert on it, and some of it is...

Can bad eye make good eye bad?
I have a question....My left eye has pretty bad KC and my right eye had it just very little. But I am noticing lately that my right eye is starting to bother me a little more, and is starting to get a bit more ghosting. Does the sight in the bad eye make the good one worse? Does the KC kind of "...

Re: Keratoconus - Eye Pain - need some thoughts/advice
Hi Alison- I can relate to your headache problems and eye pain. My left eye is the bad one, and it feels very sore most of the time, and I feel a headache in my brain above that eye almost all of the time (I have a terrible one today :( ). I even have them while I am sleeping, and wake up with one o...

Re: Corneoplastics
I found the article about Corneoplastics that I was looking for... http://www.osnsupersite.com/view.asp?rID=22138 I think I'm a bit confused on it all right now. Maybe some of you can help out by reading that article (hopefully it will work for you, because their website was down for a lot of the da...

Re: Corneoplastics
I read an article a few months back about this, but can't find it now. What you said is concerning, and I'll make sure to bring it up to him when I meet with him next Friday. Again, he sounded very confident and said that its a different technique than Lasik (I just don't know the specifics). Will k...
