Do you guys get those weird floater/ worm things that float by your vision? I've always had them to some extent, but ever since I got KC and it progressed, they are pretty bad. I don't know what causes them, and also wonder if there is anything that can be done to help it.

wow GarethB, you can now get by without any lenses at all? How did you manage that if your KC is so bad?

Donna-I have read really good things about Rose K lenses. I am quite interested in trying those. So you really recommend them?

Another question...Once you go to hard lenses, are you able to wear glasses some of the time? Do most of you get adequate vision? I like to wear contacts all day at work, and then often when I get home, I will take them out and put on my glasses to rest my eyes (and I don't need my vision to be quit...

Great encouragement guys! I really can't wait to try them. I took a look at the list of opthamologists, but the only problem is that I live in the US (in Jacksonville, Florida). I'll have to look and see if I can find a list of lens fitters here. That would be a big help. I'll be sure to update ever...

oh wow, thats great news Donna! I hope that I am able to get that sort of relief out a different kind of contacts. My next step is finding a doctor who is really good at fitting for KC. Thanks to everyone else too. It's nice to hear that there is hope (even though it may take quite a bit of patience).

Is it normal for my eyes to slightly hurt, pretty much all the time? It's like a slight soreness. It is worse in my left eye (which is the worse eye). My guess is thats its caused by my eyes having to work so hard to focus because of the KC, but I want to be sure its nothing to worry about.
