John Smith states:- I agree with Gareth that the comment your employer made was indeed discriminatory, Steven. I disagree with you both John. It would have been discriminatory if I had explained I use the train rather than the car because the medical experts have informed I must not drive as my corr...

This situation of the interests of KC patients not being adequately represented in the NHS system by the patient/customer reminds me of the challenging experience I faced when I was elected as a Parent School governor at my kids local County Council run Primary school. Maybe these NHS centres of cus...

It did no appear to bother any patients waiting. After a few minutes I ...

One thing that I do appreciate here is the humour, the irony and the hope offered for effective KC patient representation to make improvements for all parties involved. This thread when reading through it reminded me of the TV comedy series "Allo, Allo" and the "elusive picture of the...

Invisible for the day.........remember the TV series with Randall & Hopkirk? I think that I would follow the Queen of England, or Toblerone Tony for a day or failing that attend a Bilderberg group meeting. Yes I know what you gonna say "thats even sadder!" Jayuk states - Id prefer &quo...

Hi Donna, I agree its a shame there is no support group up here........maybe we should start one? I would support, help out and attend meetings for a Lancashire/Cumbria group if you or someone else in the area is interested in organising/arranging monthly/quarterly group meetings. Your welcome to co...

I'm currently trying a "mini" scleral only for one eye so far as apparently they are hand made and cost alot more than RGPs. Its easier to put them in once you've mastered the technique (have to keep eye surface horizontal to avoid the fluid escaping) although a bit messy and dead easy to ...
