Re: Cornea reshaping eye drop?
It would be best to contact the original research team in NZ. Apart from that website there seems to be little information, so may not have progressed far.

Re: New here and hoping for some help/advice
Hi, some of what you are describing is what we would recognise as the early stages of keratoconus. and it is not uncommon for repeat appointments to be quite far apart if progression is slow. You may get to the point when glasses no longer give you satisfactory vision. You may be at that point if yo...

I suspect the excess would flood away and not be absorbed anyway.

One dose of steroid is unlikely to have any lasting effect on you or the lens. Normally in use steroid eyedrops (dexamethasone) are used at least once a day and often many times more to be effective. Is this the same eye you are waiting for a cataract?

Re: Post CXL recovery
A suggestion, when you go back again ask them to send you back to the waiting area for an hour and re-examine you. RGPs can fall out if dry, but I would expect you to have other symptoms of dry eyes if that was happening. It's possible your KC is stable but you have a significant irregular cornea al...

Re: Help required !
Hi, sorry to read your story. I would be surprised if there is a direct link between you high BP and KC. Presumably you are seeing a hospital consultant re your corneas. That's definitely the right course. A cornea specialist will be medically qualified too so should take into account everything els...

Graft number 2
I had my first graft in January 2018 and since then things have really progressed as well as I hoped. Partially as a consequence of appointments being quite spread out since then due to Covid limitations and my vision as has been so good (I can read unaided and only need a minor prescription to driv...

Re: Full thickness cornea graft
That's good and you are only 3 weeks after the operation. It is inevitably a "wait and see" process. When are due due to go back again?

Re: First appointment at Moorfields
If your next appointment has not arrived a week after your visit you can phone the appointments booking centre on 020 7566 2357. Always best to quote your hospital number. If you have trouble getting through on the phone email can be a better option moorfields.outpatientbookingsbc@nhs.net
