All you RGP wearers, do you ever remove your lens and it comes out at a bad angle scrapping the cornea?
This very occasionally happens to me when I'm tired and it scares the hell out of me because the eye really hurts and waters.
Can we really hurt ourselves when this happens?

Many years ago, at conference, got drunk, lost lens, had to present sitting down :shock: couldn't damn well see a thing like the flip chart, people... Rushed into Boots and cleared the counter to flip out the lens as it was really hurting, cue shocked assistants who thought I was taking out a prosth...
