Hi Sarah :D

I don't remember anything exactly like that happening with either of my grafts, but I do remember that in the early days they were constantly changing, practically from hour to hour let alone day to day.

Is it still happening today?

Why is there a large white chocolate button with ants running around it ,under my name?! Anne, you made me laugh so much with that. I want to know why Santa appears to be taking pressies away from my house and not into it - plus he's smiling about it! Seasons greetings everyone. :D

Before having my first stitches out I thought exactly the same thing Craig, but believe me when someone has something that sharp that close to your eye you have no trouble keeping still at all. Well I didn't anyway. :D Mine have all been done with the doctor looking through a slit lamp. Havin...

Hi Emma :D I know what you mean about learning so much from this site. I was diagnosed in the very early 80's but have learned far more since I joined here than I did in all the years previously. I have two what I consider very successful grafts and wear glasses but I am not totally KC 'symptom' fre...

In my experience the amount of discomfort depends how many stitches they take out - which is only logical really isn't it?  When I had my continuous stitch out my eye was very sore for a few days but when I've had them out one or two at a time from my other graft it's been no problem. My...

Good luck Sarah. :D I'll be thinking of you.

I got to come home again the night before my second graft - complete with my patient identity bracelet. When I'd been all geared up to spend the night in hospital it was strange to come home again, but yes, nothing beats sleeping in your own bed.

The front window in our lounge catches the sun from late morning until it sets. I used to keep the curtains closed but it made the room too dark so I made a pair from thin poly cotton. They get drawn when the sun is a problem to me and the main, heavy ones once it's dark. I cringe when on all the DI...

This has turned out to be a harder question to answer than I thought it would. My initial reaction was that post graft my KC didn't have that much of an impact, but then I thought about it and realised over the years just how much it has dominated virtually everything. Because of KC I never learned ...
