Thanks for the tips guys :-)

I am having some new glasses made at the moment. The first pair they couldn't make due to lens thickness and the frames, eek!!

I do like the ability to rest my eyes with a good glasses prescription

As far as I was aware contact solution kills most of not all bacterias. If I remember rightly Polyquad with is in Opti-free states on the box that it kills Acanthamoeba which is a well know eye infection causer.Do you know the cause/bacteria involved in the eye infection? It's great to hear a success story for RGPs. I too love the visual clarity. Good that they feel comfortable for you from the get go aswell

I used to wear a hard lens in my right eye and a soft lens in my left. I think it does make RGPs more bearable, there only being one in the eye! You should get used to it after a few months.
